The Old School
Yes. Photos can be extremely helpful and informative, and can often save you a trip to the surgery. For example, rashes and skin lesions.
All photos are reviewed by a doctor.
Here are our important rules:
1 - Just TWO photos should be enough (one close-up, and further away to show the whole limb/area of the body).
2 - Photos must be in FOCUS.
3 - Please include a ruler or tape-measure in close-ups so we have an idea of size.
4 - No photos of sensitive areas (e.g. genitals, breasts, bottoms) please. If the photo is of your child, please edit/crop out any sensitive areas, as sending or storing these is ILLEGAL.
5 - For face photos, please close your eyes.
6 - Finally, please email the photos as an ATTACHMENT to oldschoolmedicalpractice@nhs.net
